Every Vettica order is a custom build. There's no self-serve platform where you download a pre-made list. You tell us exactly what you need, and we build it from scratch using state board records and 50+ verified sources.

Common custom criteria include: specific specialties or subspecialties, geographic territories (state, metro, ZIP code), practice size, independent vs. corporate, technology stack, and years in practice.

How it works

Send us your criteria via the contact form or email. We'll scope the project, provide a record count estimate and quote, and deliver your list within 3-5 business days of approval. Complex builds with unusual criteria may take 5-7 days.

How to write good criteria

The best briefs read like a description of your ideal customer, not a list of database filters. "Practices likely to buy a $40K digital radiography unit" is a better starting point than "all small animal practices," because it lets us apply judgment: multi-doctor practices, independent ownership so the clinic controls its own capital spending, and no recent equipment-related job postings that suggest they just bought.

Tell us what you sell, what your deal size looks like, and who signed the check at your last five customers. We translate that into filters. Buyers who skip this step usually order too broad, pay for records they never contact, and conclude the list was the problem.

Where custom builds beat subscriptions

Database subscriptions make sense when your market is enormous and churning, like selling SaaS to all US companies. Veterinary is neither. The entire US market is roughly 30,000 practices and about 130,000 licensed veterinarians. You don't need year-round export access to a market that size; you need one accurate cut of it, matched to your targeting, at the moment you launch a campaign.

The math should include the vendor's current quote, internal cleanup time, and the share of records that match the veterinary segment. A custom build is priced per project and does not renew unless you order again. Run the campaign, measure it, then order the next slice when you need it.

Scoping, quoting, and what happens after delivery

Every project starts with a record count estimate and a fixed quote before you commit. If your criteria return fewer records than expected, we tell you before building, not after invoicing. After delivery, you get 30 days to report bounces or mismatched records for replacement or credit. Repeat buyers often set a refresh cadence, quarterly or semi-annual, so territory files and campaign lists never drift more than a few months from board records.
